OUR STORY

The Johns from Bombay and Goa have been doing home catering for some time now. Unusual in a food service family, husband and wife Peter and Wendy are joined by their cooking professional Chef son Steve and daughter in law Hyeseon Kim from Seoul-South Korea.
Peter has 40 years of cooking and catering experience – part of which comprised 17 years in a massive cruise liner galley (kitchen) (U.S.A), 11 years in Oberoi Hotels (Bombay-India), and many years running the kitchen of a US restaurant in Fargo, North Dakota, Miami-Florida, L.A-California, New York and Toronto-Canada. With such experience, he can rustle up any kind of cuisine in little time and with much finesse and has done so with medium-sized crowds at the large banquets and at various functions including Toronto political party fundraisers at which his services are much in demand. Wendy from Calangute (Goa – India), looks after the Goan palate dishing up community favorites with her Grandma’s mouthwatering authentic recipes along with Peter and Steve helping to rock it up a notch.
Son Steve picked up his catering education and skills from I.H.M (Institute of Hotel Management- Porvorim – Goa – India) and later mastered them at the Humber College in Culinary Management (Toronto-Canada). He brings the modern touch and the latest food innovations to Peter and Wendy’s work. Steve’s culinary career is peppered with influences from India, Japan, Korea, The Caribbean, China, and Europe in both reach and imagination. Steve’s wife Hyeseon who is a award winner in South Korea and specialized in 3D Microblading also brings in most popular Korean dishes to add to the menu.
All four take delight in what they do and have a keen ear for customers’ requests. Whether it is Hyderabadi Dum Biryani the preparation of which Peter takes pride in explaining, or to other Indian dishes, to Caribbean jerk or Chinese variety, to the popular range of Goan food and dessert, or to Canadian, American, Korean and Italian Casual, Peter, Wendy, Steve and Hyeseon will give you nothing but the best and take pride doing it.
